The frame count (2, 3, 5 or 7) is set via the Custom Functions menu (C.Fn) or the advanced shooting menu. The EV step supports both 1/3 and 1/2 EV increments up to a maximum offset of ±3.0 EV from the base point. At 7 frames with a 3.0 EV step, total coverage reaches 18.0 EV (modulation from −9.0 EV to +9.0 EV).
